Stop randomly throwing things: Smart Marketing Strategies for Success

Hi,
It’s Artin.
Whenever I start working with a new client, I’m usually expected to add a bunch of things.
New pages.
New emails.
New content on their Google Business Profile.
New ad campaigns, angles, offers, guarantees, creatives… and the list goes on.
But here’s the problem:
Adding more stuff is usually the worst thing you can do.
The Doctor Analogy
Imagine you’re a doctor.
A patient walks in and says, “My stomach hurts.”
And your solution? You just throw some painkillers at him.
Sure, it makes sense on paper — pain → painkillers → problem solved.
But that’s also a great way to lose your medical license.
Because you’re not supposed to mask the symptom.
You’re supposed to figure out what’s actually wrong and fix that.
Marketing works the exact same way.
Diagnose Before You Add
Before you start adding new things to your marketing, ask why something isn’t performing the way it should.
Before adding new content to Google Business, figure out why you’re not ranking #1 yet.
Before launching new campaigns on Google Ads, analyze what your current ones are doing.
Before uploading new creatives on Meta, check what’s already working and double down on that.
Because if you just keep throwing “pills” at the problem, you’ll only make it worse.
Final Thought
Marketing isn’t about adding more.
It’s about understanding what’s wrong, fixing it, and then scaling what works.
Stop throwing random pills at your marketing, diagnose first.

P.S. If your business is doing well but you know it could be doing even better, maybe it’s time to look at your strategy, not just your ads.
